You're not here by accident. You're here because the universe needed exactly what you carry
A Man's greatest Need is to be Needed
Because without contribution, the soul keeps searching...

Personal Strategy

Recently, a series of deeply emotional discussions unfolded in one of my extended family groups. It started off casually — just everyday thoughts and sharing — but soon evolved into a reflective thread about values, beliefs, understanding, relationships, and feeling heard.
One common comment struck a chord:
“Aap samjh nahi rahe, main kya samjha raha hu..”
That line didn’t just end the conversation.
It began something within me.
It stirred something real — a silent truth we all carry but seldom speak aloud.
And as I sat with those words, I found myself watching the world differently from that day.
At home, at work, in casual chats with friends, I noticed something:
Behind every argument, every hesitation, every attention-seeking post…
There was one silent yearning:
To be needed. To feel that our existence truly matters.
Think for a moment…
Have you ever truly paused and asked yourself —
“Why am I here?”
or
Have you ever felt uneasy even when everything in your life “looks” fine?
That strange discontent that creeps in during quiet moments?
It’s not always anxiety.
Often, it’s the soul’s silent scream:
👉 “I don’t feel useful.”
👉 “I don’t know what I’m contributing anymore.”
We all have needs — food, shelter, love, companionship. But beyond all of them, there lies one silent need that beats in the background of our lives:
The need to be needed.
🌿 Lets Understand the Hidden Design of the Universe
Take a walk in nature and you’ll see this design mirrored everywhere:
• The tree doesn’t just exist for itself. It gives shade, fruit, oxygen — without needing applause.
• The sky holds space for clouds, birds, rainbows, and light.
• The air doesn’t wait to be noticed, but without it, life wouldn’t move an inch.
Everything in nature contributes & serves a purpose.
And that purpose is its VALUE.
So why would it be any different for us?
Just like nature, every human being has a built-in need —
Not just for food, shelter, and comfort…
But for CONTRIBUTION.
To feel that what I bring matters to someone. Somewhere.
In nutshell, there is nothing that exists and does not solve some purpose.
Similarly, You🪞Are Not Random
No person is born without purpose. You are not here by accident.
You are here because someone, somewhere, sometime needs exactly what you carry.
It may not be loud. It may not come with awards or big applause.
But it matters.
- Maybe you’re the calm voice someone needs on a hard day.
- Maybe you’re the silent pillar in your family’s life.
- Maybe your laughter, your ideas, your way of seeing the world — has quietly changed someone without you even realizing.
Then how is it that we are forgetful of this value within us ?
Ask yourself…
When was the last time you thanked a tree?
When was the last time you appreciated the invisible air?
We often overlook what’s constantly giving — until something breaks, until a disaster forces us to pause and realize: Everything that exists is holding up something else.
And so are you.
The Law is Simple: What You Recognize, Recognizes You
The universe works in reflections!
What you see, you strengthen.
What you ignore, you weaken.
Meaning, "What you see in Others, you strengthen in Yourself."
We live in a time where we’re encouraged to “find ourselves” —
But the path to self-discovery often starts with recognising others.
• When you appreciate the silent efforts of a tired father or a mother
• When you value the patience of a wife or a husband
• When you honour the presence of someone who simply listens
You’re tuning your awareness to the frequency of contribution.
And slowly, something inside you begins to rise:
Your own sense of worth.
The universe reflects what you notice.
If you start recognising value around you,
You begin remembering the value within you.
If you want to feel valued, start valuing what’s around you -
• Acknowledge; Appreciate someone today — genuinely.
• Recognize how the universe runs on mutual contribution, not isolation.
• Gratitude; Notice & be grateful how a plant gives without asking.
When you begin to notice the value of others, you slowly begin to realise your own.
And something shifts inside.
You go from “What’s my purpose?” to “Where can I contribute?”
You stop asking “Why don’t I matter?” and start realising “I already do.”
But let’s get something clear —
Being needed is not about being flawless.
💡 Because Being Needed ≠ Being Perfect
It’s about showing up,
offering what you can,
and trusting that it matters — even when no one says it.
Think of the quietest person in your life — maybe a grandparent, a baby or that one friend who hardly speaks.
But when they smile, when they just sit beside you, the whole room feels different.
That’s value.
That’s presence.
That’s purpose — without performance.
You’re not here to prove your worth. You’re here to give your worth.
And in giving, you become full.
🔓 And What Happens When You Step Into That Space? A lot gets Un-locked…
• Life begins to respond.
• People begin to remember you.
• Situations start aligning.
• And most importantly, you begin to feel whole again.
When a human being realizes they are needed — not as an option, but as a meaningful piece of the puzzle — that’s when true peace begins.
So today, instead of asking:
“Do I matter?”
Try asking:
“Where am I already being useful?”
And build your day from there.
